Opportunity:

RN - Telemetry/Neuro Stepdown

Job Details:

* Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
* Patient ratio of 5:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum of 8 weekend shifts every six weeks (combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
* Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Missouri or Compact License
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Required skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Feeding tube care and management, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Sheath Removal, Telemetry, and on-unit telemetry monitoring
* Special procedures: NIH Stroke Scale
* Special equipment: Virtual Nurses, 12-lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, Omnicell
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Common patient diagnoses include Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, and COVID
