Job Details:
* Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Call requirements include 1 late call per week (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM), 1 call shift per week (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM), and 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
* Level 1 experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required in specialty
* 2 years of experience required in specialty preferred
* KY Radiation Tech License through ARRT required before start date; pending license acceptable at submission
* Kentucky State Radiation License (KBMIRT) required before beginning assignment
* License/Certification: RTR (Registered Technician of Radiology) or RTRCI (Registered Technologist of Radiology Cardiac Intervention) required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* PALS required but not needed at time of submission; must obtain before start date
* EKG onboarding exam required
* Epic EHR experience required
* McKesson experience required
* Philips Single and Bi Plane Angiography experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Procedures include: Interventional, Structural, Peds, Congenital, ECMO, Heart Failure, Transplant, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, PCI, and multiple devices
* Required skills include: accurate monitoring, angioplasty, ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, ECMO, hemodynamic monitoring, Impella insertion, interpretation of dysrhythmias, left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, EKG lead placement, room circulator, scrub/sterile field maintenance, TAVR, Watchman, Rotablader/venous access, and rhythm interpretation
* Preferred skills include: IV start, phlebotomy, coil embolization, pacemaker, obtaining vitals, inpatient and outpatient experience
* Serves patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted at this facility

This facility is a large academic health system offering a wide range of specialized medical services including interventional and structural cardiology, pediatric and congenital procedures, ECMO, heart failure, and transplant services. The facility supports advanced procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, and multiple device placements, and utilizes industry-standard systems including Epic EHR and McKesson. The organization maintains high compliance standards and works with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cardiac and radiology care.
