Job Details:
* Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
* No weekend shift requirement
* On-call requirement of 5 weekday nights and 1 full weekend every 6 weeks
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Daily case load of 7 to 15 cases
* Floating required as needed between two campuses located 12 miles apart (15-20 minute drive); travelers are first to float
* Hospital scrub colors provided
* 2-day orientation
* Parking provided at each facility
* Missed shifts may be required to be made up during the same week or at the end of the assignment
* 1 year of experience required; IR, Hybrid OR, Scrub, and Special Procedures experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted; local rates apply to candidates residing within 50 miles
* Required certifications: ARRT(R), ACLS, BLS; ARRT(VI) preferred
* Required license: NJDEP Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (can be obtained prior to start)
* Required skills include: equipment, inventory and supply management, PACS, room circulator, scrub procedures, maintaining sterile field and sterile technique, prep access site, equipment set up, accurate monitoring, and Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
* Vascular access skills required: venous access, accessing and managing ports, central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC lines), central venous lines and PICC lines care and maintenance
* Abdominal and visceral procedures include: adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, chest tube placement, embolization, endograft placement, IVC filter placement and removal, inferior vena cavagram, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, pelvic angiography, percutaneous hepatic angiography, renal angiography, selective visceral angiography, and stent placement
* Genitourinary procedures include: angiography of genitourinary system, catheter/drain exchange, gastrostomy, internal/external biliary drainage, nephrostomy, renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, and uterine arterial embolization
* Vascular procedures include: carotid stenting, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision, dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), endovascular interventions, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS, and upper and lower extremity angiography
* Patient age groups served: adults and geriatrics

This acute care hospital is a 263-bed facility operating as a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Interventional Radiology program specializes in minimally invasive image-guided vascular and nonvascular procedures, supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations with advanced angiographic, embolization, biopsy, venous access, and interventional therapies. The health system operates two hospital campuses in southeastern New Jersey.
