Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float required within the facility as needed, same expectation as current staff nurses with agency floating first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* Must have ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Block schedule may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This facility is a 12-bed stepdown unit providing specialized intermediate care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit supports a wide range of complex patient needs and utilizes Epic for charting. Staff are expected to maintain competency across a broad scope of clinical skills including cardiac telemetry, neurological care, respiratory management, and various advanced procedures to support diverse patient diagnoses.
