Job Details:
* Day shift schedule
* Call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs
* Weekends only required during call
* Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic experience required (hard stop)
* Heart Transplant experience highly preferred
* CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA certification required (hard stop)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RNFA
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, General OR, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Lobe resection, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Thoracotomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services and Interpretation Services
* No self-scheduling; travel pairs not accepted; block schedules not honored
* Pre-approved time off: one request permitted
* RTO guidelines vary by contract length: 10 days for 14-week contract, 17 days for 26-week contract
* No consecutive weekend RTO requests; only 1 weekend of RTO permitted per 4-week timeframe
* No holiday RTO accepted
* GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
