Opportunity:

Radiography Clinical Coordinator

Job Details:

* Full-time position working 40 hours per week, onsite at Mission Center Building
* Organize, administer, evaluate, and support ongoing development of the clinical education component of the Radiography Program
* Manage clinical site recruitment, affiliation agreements, student assignments, and competency evaluations
* Recruit, establish, and maintain clinical education affiliates consistent with JRCERT Standards and program learning outcomes
* Conduct regular site visits to evaluate quality and safety of clinical education environments, equipment, and preceptor performance
* Verify student-to-radiographic equipment ratios meet JRCERT minimum standard of 1:1 at each assigned site
* Identify, orient, and document clinical preceptors at each recognized clinical setting
* Develop and distribute clinical rotation schedules for all students
* Enforce supervision policies ensuring students are directly supervised by a qualified ARRT-certified radiographer until competency is demonstrated
* Implement and maintain the program's competency-based clinical evaluation system
* Review and validate competency documentation submitted by clinical preceptors and students
* Monitor student clinical progress and intervene early with documented improvement or remediation plans when needed
* Ensure clinical curriculum is integrated with and reinforces the program's didactic coursework
* Contribute to JRCERT accreditation documentation and self-study reports
* Participate in program advisory committee and assessment committee meetings
* Maintain a current master clinical assignment file documenting student rotations, site assignments, and competency records
* Teach assigned didactic or laboratory courses in accordance with institutional policy and program needs
* Minimum of five years of experience in radiologic technology required
* At least two years of experience working in an educational setting required
* Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience in radiography following initial ARRT certification required
* Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program or equivalent accrediting body required
* Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography, R(R) required
* Current state radiologic technology license required
* Current BLS or CPR certification for healthcare providers required
* Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience and training required
* Master's degree in radiologic science, education, or a health-related field preferred
* Prior experience as a clinical coordinator or assistant clinical coordinator in a JRCERT-accredited program preferred
* Additional ARRT credentials such as Computed Tomography preferred
* Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required for travel between clinical sites
* Ability to maintain flexible availability including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and off-campus site visits
* Teaching hospital experience required
