Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac/Telemetry (5 North)

Job Details:

* 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
* Half of contract weekends required
* 2 years of nursing experience preferred
* Travel nursing experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:5-6
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Charting system experience required; Epic charting system used
* Care for adult patients ranging from young adults through geriatric population
* Provide cardiac care for patients recovering from cardiac interventions including cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implant
* Care for hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients
* Required skills include: cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, arterial line management, heparin protocols, vasoactive drip management, IV insulin protocols, PICC line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, pre/post cardiac catheterization care, pre/post cardiac surgery care, post MI care, wound care, and tracheostomy care
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
