Open Position: RN - ICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2325.28

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts or straight nights possible
* Weekend coverage required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 22-bed ICU unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
* Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
* Must be available to work every other holiday
* Skills required include but are not limited to: arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, management of dysrhythmias, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
* Active PA or Compact license required

This facility is a community hospital offering a comprehensive intensive care unit with 22 beds dedicated to adult and geriatric patient care. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. The facility utilizes Cerner as its primary charting system and maintains a 2:1 patient ratio to ensure high-quality patient care.
