Opportunity:

RN - Pacemaker Electrophysiology

Job Details:

* Assist clinic providers and staff in the delivery and coordination of patient care to facilitate patient satisfaction, clinic efficiency, and provider productivity
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team
* Interrogate cardiac implantable electronic devices, monitor and document patient response to device therapy and programming changes, and adjust device settings in accordance with provider orders
* Manage remote device monitoring and troubleshoot device-related concerns
* Perform diagnostic tests and treatments including EKGs, event monitors, Holter monitors, and Zio Patch application, removal, and data processing
* Coordinate and schedule surgical and procedural interventions related to cardiac implantable electronic devices
* Collaborate with radiology, surgical, anesthesia, and other interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients undergoing MRI studies, surgical procedures, or other interventions
* Provide education, support, and ongoing guidance to patients and families regarding cardiac implantable electronic devices, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology-related procedures including ablation therapy
* Maintain device clinic databases and patient records to support accurate documentation, reporting, and continuity of care
* Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and departmental initiatives
* Position may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
* On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
* Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license required
* Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience required
* Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
* American Heart Association ACLS certification required
* International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification required
* Experience managing cardiac implantable electronic devices including pacemakers and ICDs required
* Experience with device platforms from major manufacturers including Biotronik, Medtronic, Abbott, and Boston Scientific required
* Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia management and ECG/EKG interpretation required
