Opportunity:

RN - Operating Room

Job Details:

* Three 12-hour shifts per week with weekends preferred
* 13-week assignment
* On-call is required, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week sign-up period, approximately 15 call shifts per month
* Weekend position required; staff working during the week are required to take call
* 1:1 patient ratio
* 11 OR suites with a variety of OR beds and equipment
* EMR system: Epic
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* Perform circulator duties as patient advocate while serving as a resource for the sterile field
* Typical procedures include total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Xi Robotic cases including GYN, colorectal, and general surgery
* Experience with ortho, total joints, neuro, and robotics required
* Experience as circulator preferred; experience as scrub preferred
* CNOR certification preferred
* Required certifications: Alaska RN License, BLS, ACLS

This hospital is a full-service acute care facility located in Anchorage, Alaska, offering a wide range of surgical services across 11 operating rooms. The operating room unit supports complex procedures including multi-level spine fusions, total joint replacements, and advanced robotic surgeries. The facility utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and maintains a collaborative team environment with day and night shift staffing models.
