CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
* Start times vary between 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, and 8:00 AM
* Shifts are scheduled together with no set days of the week
* On-call required 1 to 2 nights per week
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Must have ARRT CT certification
* Must have EPIC experience
* Must have X-Ray experience and be willing to cover as needed during shift
* Experience working with Philips system required
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* Required certifications: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS), Fluoroscopy license in state of employment
* Preferred certifications: Advanced Certification in CT modality, Venipuncture certification
* Radiologic Tech (RT) state license required

Facility:

This 162-bed acute care facility has been providing care to the community since 1959. The facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county designated trauma center, offering comprehensive medical services to the surrounding region.
