Opportunity:

RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY

Job Details:

* Seasonal 13-week contract position
* Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule
* No call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Work on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit on the 4th floor
* Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse with RNs accommodating 1:1 or 1:2 ratio
* Perform typical L&D procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Required equipment experience: Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
* Must have EFM, SVE competency, and C-section circulation experience
* Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required
* Preferred: Internal monitor placement competency and experience in a Level IV high volume unit
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only - t-shirts not acceptable

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a high-volume medical center featuring a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit staffed by a team of approximately 150 dedicated professionals. The unit is equipped with advanced technology including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, and other specialized fetal monitoring equipment to support comprehensive maternal and newborn care. The facility utilizes Meditech as its EMR system and maintains a strong, experienced team committed to providing exceptional patient care.
