Medical Lab Scientist - ER

Job Details:

* Sunday through Tuesday shift schedule
* Position focused on Point of Care Testing in the ER Lab FSED
* Perform POC testing as primary responsibility
* Perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director in support of FSED operations
* Must hold full MLS license - Associates level license will not be accepted
* ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist) required
* Point of care knowledge preferred
* Contract length of 26 weeks available

This medical center operates a free-standing emergency department lab, providing critical diagnostic testing services to support emergency patient care. The facility maintains a dedicated ER Lab environment where Medical Lab Scientists work alongside nursing and lab leadership to deliver timely and accurate Point of Care Testing results.
