Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Half of contract weekends required
* Float required
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* 2 years of nursing experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: Blood product administration, central line blood draw, colostomy/ileostomy management and care, feeding tube care and management, heparin, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), insulin, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, med/surg, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, PCA, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry unit monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac
* Care for adult patients ranging from young adulthood through geriatrics
* Work on a medical-surgical telemetry unit focused on patients with vascular disease diagnoses
* Unit consists of 12 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms with a maximum census of 16 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
