Job Details:
* Work each weekend Saturday and Sunday, plus 1 day during the week
* Patient ratio of 1:2 throughout days, nights, and weekends
* 8-room unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
* Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of CT Tech experience required
* ARRT CT certification required
* Experience with GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment required
* Proficiency with Epic charting system required
* Charge experience preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Active Michigan (MI) license required - compact licenses not accepted
* Two manager or supervisor references required - charge nurse references not accepted
* All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
* No pre-hire modules required - modules completed onsite during orientation
* Skills required include: adult acute care, adult outpatient, aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, chest without and/or with contrast, colorectal studies, coronary CTA, drainage, enterography study, head without and/or with contrast, heart studies, isolation precautions/PPE, lumbar, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, region of interest measurement, sinuses, soft tissue neck, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic, trauma head, vascular chest, and vascular CTA
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a dedicated CT imaging unit equipped with GE and Siemens technology and supported by a comprehensive PACS system. The unit serves adult and geriatric patients across 8 rooms and maintains consistent 1:2 patient ratios across all shifts. The facility provides a full range of advanced imaging procedures and supports both trauma and outpatient care needs within a collaborative clinical environment.
