RN - Hospital

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
* Perform daily rounds on all patients to assure quality customer service and address unmet requirements
* Develop individualized plans of care based on patient's physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental, and rehabilitative needs
* Assess patient conditions, set goals, and prescribe appropriate nursing actions including discharge planning
* Assess, intervene, and reassess patient pain and symptoms promptly in accordance with standard operating procedures
* Identify early warning signs of changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to deteriorating patients
* Report pertinent observations and reactions to appropriate multidisciplinary team members and document accurately
* Complete and submit all incident reports prior to the completion of each shift
* Establish and maintain communication with patients and other significant individuals
* Begin discharge planning, education, and counseling as early as possible to optimize patient and family understanding
* Delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice to appropriate personnel
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics), STABLE
* North Dakota Board of Nursing license or Compact State Agreement required
