Opportunity:

Operating Room Nurse

Job Details:

* Provide nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
* Function as both circulating and scrub nurse as needed
* Participate in 24-hour call coverage
* Complete the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
* Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families
* Supervise assigned team members
* Use nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
* Maintain work area and ensure safe, therapeutically effective nursing care
* Serve as teacher to ensure proper patient care protocols
* Previous experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred
* Current Washington State or MultiState RN license required
* Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required
* ACLS & PALS certifications required
* Quick start position available
