Job Details:

* Variable shifts of 8 or 10 hours during day shift
* Acute care setting with 7 operating suites handling 18-20 cases per day
* Call requirement includes some nights and weekends, 1 week of nights per week, and 2 twelve-hour weekend call shifts per month
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* Holiday work required
* No weekend requirement for scheduled shifts
* Scrubs provided
* Floating limited to pre and post-op areas only
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Patient ratio of 1:1 or 2:1
* Scrubbing preferred but not required for RNs
* Common case types include laparoscopic, bariatrics, orthopedic, neuro, urology, GYN, and ENT procedures
* EMR system: Cerner
* Charge nurse and OR techs on staff
* Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available 24/7
* Surgeon on call 24/7
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) via CCI Certificate
* BSN not required
