Opportunity:

Adult RRT- Ashley River Tower

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with holidays required
* First week orientation will be completed on day shift
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Floating may occur only to Main Hospital with adult population using same policies, equipment, and charting requirements - no floating to sister facilities
* Emergency team activation as required
* At least 2 years of critical care experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: NBRC RRT certification, BLS, ACLS
* Accepted licenses: NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider)
* SC RRT license must be in hand at time of start
* RRT adult critical care experience required
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Charting system: Epic
* Parking cost: Nights and weekends only - one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Block scheduling may be accommodated with prior approval but is not guaranteed
* Work with adult critical care patient populations including cardiovascular ICU and medical-surgical ICU patients
* Patient conditions include post-cardiac surgery, heart and lung transplant, LVAD, ECMO, IABP, Impella, ARDS, septic shock, GI hemorrhage, and pulmonary hypertension

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The Ashley River Tower campus features nearly 200 beds, including 2 ICUs, 2 step-down floors, 4 general acute care floors, and a 21-bed emergency department. The cardiovascular ICU consists of 21 beds serving post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular surgery patients, while the medical-surgical ICU consists of 18 beds serving a mix of medical and abdominal surgical patients.
