Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 17-week contract for winter planning
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be comfortable with and have exposure to post-partum care
* Must be able to perform cervical exams, antepartum and labor support, amnio infusions, epidural assistance, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin administration
* Must be able to circulate C-sections
* Baby catching/receiving required
* APGAR scoring required
* Breastfeeding knowledge required
* Strong labor and delivery experience required
* Post-partum experience strongly preferred, including all aspects of care from transition to discharge for mother and baby
* Scrub experience is a bonus; scrub-trained RNs occasionally used for sick call coverage
* No on-call responsibilities
* Teal scrubs are provided
* EMR: Epic strongly preferred
* Multilingual skills preferred (Russian/Spanish speaking population)
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive obstetrics unit with 20 total beds, including 12 labor and delivery beds and 8 post-partum/antepartum beds, along with 3 OB/ED rooms and 2 operating rooms. The unit also includes a 6-bed Level II NICU, providing advanced care for newborns requiring additional medical attention. A Scrub Tech is always on site and a nurse practitioner is available on call to support the clinical team.
