Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted provided required experience is met
* Required certifications: ARRT (T) and BLS (AHA)
* TrueBeam experience required
* Scrub color: Grey or Steel
* May float to sister facility as needed (approximately 11.7 miles away)
* Treats adult patient population in an outpatient radiation oncology setting
* Daily census of approximately 145 patients
* Required skills include: Adult Outpatient, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT, Radiation Safety, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), TrueBeam, Varis-Vision/ARIA, CT Simulation, and experience with busy workflow
* Additional skills include: treatment of Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials, Pancreatic Cancer, Kidney Cancer, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Benign Brain Tumors, and various other oncology diagnoses
* Isolation Precautions/PPE knowledge required

The facility features state-of-the-art radiation therapy technology including TrueBeam linear accelerators and supports a high-volume patient population.
