RRT - Adult Critical Care/ED
Job Details:
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5 years of experience preferred, or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5 years of experience
* Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Weekend coverage required
* Charting system: Cerner
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
* Will accept first-time travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
* Required skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Intubation Assist, Extubation, Mechanical Ventilation/Weaning, Nitric Oxide (INo), Inhaled Flolan, Bronchoscopy, Drawing Arterial Blood Gases, Interpretation of ABGs, ET Tube management, Tracheostomy care and management, Fresh Tracheostomy, Suctioning (ETT and NT), Chest Physiotherapy, Pulmonary Hygiene, Aerosol setup (mask and trach), SIMV, ARDS, and Troubleshooting High Pressure Alarms
* Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
* References required
* Candidates may float within facility, within scope
* Pre-approved time off: two requests
