Job Details:
* Block schedule required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Float between units required
* Expected patient ratio of 1:11
* Provide floor care, emergency room coverage, code response, and rapid response
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Any color
* Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
* Required skills include: aerosol setup, BiPAP, CPAP, emergency department procedures, extubation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nitric oxide (INo), tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, rapid response, and pediatric care
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility

This is a short-term acute care facility and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. With 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds, this teaching hospital offers a comprehensive range of specialty care services including a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU. The facility provides a dynamic and high-acuity environment for experienced respiratory therapists seeking to expand their clinical expertise.
