Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Weekend shifts required with 4 weekend shifts per contract
* On-call required - expect to be on call 1 day per week, Monday through Thursday, and every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
* Traveler must stay within 30 minutes of the facility to respond to call as expected
* Rotate through scope cleaning and reprocessing room and assist physicians
* Patient ratio of 1:1 with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of approximately 15 patients with 7 beds available
* Float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units/sister facilities, though highly unlikely
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* BLS certification required
* Proficient with the following skills and equipment: assisting with biopsies, balloon dilators, colonoscopes, colonoscopy, EGD, EGD scopes, ERCP, ERCP scopes, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), ERBE electrical coagulation instrument, fluoroscopy equipment, electrosurgical units, high-level disinfection (HLD), instrument processing and cleaning, sterilization/disinfection, stenting (esophageal/duodenal/colonic), polyp snares, flex sigmoidoscopes, enteroscopes, fiber optics, and foreign body equipment
* Responsible for procedure setup, restocking room supplies, labeling and handling of specimens including pathology, cytology, and microbiology
* Charting via Epic
* Scrubs provided in Navy Blue
* Free parking available with pass distributed at pickup
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission and is subject to facility approval

Facility:

This is an acute care hospital with 75 total staffed beds, offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The endoscopy unit supports a variety of advanced gastrointestinal procedures in a structured and collaborative clinical environment. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a supportive setting for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers.
