Opportunity:

RN Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Assigned to Neuroscience and Epilepsy unit (8 E East and 8 E South), Floor 8
* Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
* Unit consists of 29 beds with a team of 9 RNs and 2 PCTs on night shift
* Care for neuro patients including TIA, stroke, epilepsy, and ictal SPECT cases
* 4 weekend shifts required per schedule period (every 4 weeks)
* Float to all acute care areas including med surg, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, and orthopedics
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certification: BLS
* Preferred certification: ACLS
* Strong time management skills required
* Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs

The organization utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system to support efficient and quality patient care delivery.
