RN MS/TELE STROKE PMC 5 TOWER 2021-0500

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts with various days of the week
* 7 weekend shifts required per contract based on unit needs
* No on-call required
* 2 years of acute care RN experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of RN acute care experience
* Float required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities
* Care for stroke, med surge, and general patient populations including adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratios are 1:5 days and 1:6 nights; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
* Candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
* Epic charting experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, CPR
* Colorado or compact RN license required
* Scrub color: Navy
* Skills required: MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care and management, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 30-bed medical/telemetry stroke unit with a daily census of 34 patients and 24 rooms. The unit provides comprehensive care for stroke, medical-surgical, and general patient populations and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains dedicated support services to ensure high-quality patient care across all units.
