Opportunity:

PT - Inpatient Physical Therapy

Job Details:

* Shifts start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM and end between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM with flexible start times
* Current scheduling needs are Monday through Friday with 1 weekend shift per month in addition to full-time hours
* Weekend shifts are self-selected
* Patient ratio of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
* Daily patient assignments with the goal of keeping each therapist on only 1 to 2 floors
* Perform evaluations and treatment for inpatient patients
* Work with higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients
* Float coverage includes all inpatient units as well as the ED; NICU patients are not covered by this department
* Use basic rehab equipment including portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
* Document using Sunrise Allscripts system
* Vestibular experience preferred but not required
* Must have active New Hampshire Physical Therapy license in hand at time of submittal
* BLS certification required
* Scrubs required with no specific color requirement

Facility:

This 330-bed acute care facility houses a dedicated inpatient Physical Therapy department supported by a collaborative team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and a Therapy Director. The facility sees a wide variety of patients across multiple diagnoses and specializes in higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic cases. The department provides coverage across all inpatient units and the emergency department, offering therapists exposure to a diverse and dynamic patient population.
