Job Details:

* Evening shift from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
* On-call required: Weeknight standby shifts of 24 hours every 4 weeks (blocks of 4-hour or 8-hour shifts) and weekend standby shifts of 24 hours every 4 weeks (12-hour standby shifts x 2)
* Weekends required: Must work weekend shifts in lieu of weekday shifts as needed for department needs
* Block schedules not required
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* No floating between units
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Adult Acute Care Operating Room focusing on advanced oncology surgical cases
* Specialties include Bariatrics, Ortho, Podiatry, Neuro, ENT, OMFS, GYN, General, Colorectal, Urology, Hepatobiliary, Plastics, Eye, Vascular, Thoracic, Organ Harvest, and Endovascular
* Open Heart and Organ Transplant are not performed at this facility
* Must have broad knowledge of surgical equipment including Intuitive Surgical Systems XI and SI
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Any color (OR scrubs provided)
* No parking fee
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Must be certified as a surgical technologist or military trained
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA, ASATT
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Must have experience with a broad range of surgical procedures including but not limited to: Da Vinci Robotics, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, laparoscopic assisted cases, spinal fusion, total hip and knee replacement, craniotomy, endovascular and hybrid room procedures, vascular surgeries, and thoracic procedures
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* All requested time off must be submitted upfront during the submittal process

This short-term acute care facility operates 418 staffed beds and features a 21-room operating suite with a daily census of 60 patients. The facility specializes in a wide range of adult surgical specialties with a particular focus on advanced oncology surgical cases. The organization uses Epic for charting and is equipped with advanced surgical technology to support comprehensive patient care across multiple surgical disciplines.
