Opportunity:
RAPID RESPONSE - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
* 6-week assignment with 36 hours guaranteed per week
* 4 x 9-hour shifts per week
* Day shift hours: 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM (CVL) and 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (pre-post, variable)
* 2 nights of on-call required per schedule block
* Every third weekend required
* No time off requests or special scheduling accommodations
* Must take on-call responsibilities with the rest of the team
* Must be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
* On-call is divided evenly through the 4-week schedule, typically 8-12 days
* Patient ratio is 3 staff to 1 patient in the Cath Lab procedural area
* Perform procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests
* Work with GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (R), or RCIS/RCES
* If holding RCIS or RCES, must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to start
* Preferred certifications: ARRT (CI) or ARRT (CV)
* Holding experience and monitoring experience preferred
* Positive, flexible personality with a strong commitment to high-quality patient care preferred

This facility features a Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites, staffed by a team of 9 dedicated professionals. The unit operates with a high-functioning team alongside engaged physicians and utilizes advanced technology including GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment.
