RN - MS/Tele

Job Details:

* Night shift position working Sunday through Saturday, 3 days per week
* Shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 17-week contract length
* Weekend coverage required
* Float required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers welcome
* Local candidates accepted
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; CPI preferred
* Charting system experience required; Epic system used
* Must be proficient in telemetry and cardiac monitoring including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
* Skills required include peripheral line care, central line care, PICC line management, IV insertion and maintenance, and blood product administration
* Experience with cardiac drips, vasoactive drips (no titration), heparin protocols, and thrombolytic agents required
* Neurological care experience including CVA, intracranial bleeds, post-TPA care, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury required
* Respiratory management skills required including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomy care, and ABG interpretation
* Additional skills include wound care/wound vac, surgical drain management, chest tube management, orthopedic trauma, and total joint replacement care
* Experience with renal care including pre/post hemodialysis management, continuous bladder irrigation, and renal failure management preferred
* Use of rapid response and code teams required
