Opportunity:

OT - Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule
* Outpatient care setting
* Trauma Level 3 facility
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* Current, unencumbered, active Colorado Occupational Therapy License required
* Current NBCOT certification required
* Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program by AOTA
* Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to increase client independence and functioning
* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements
* Identify and make referrals to other disciplines to address comprehensive care needs
* Communicate changes in resident condition and participate in collaborative care conferences
* Participate in discharge and community mobility planning
* Prescribe necessary durable medical equipment to facilitate client independence
* Provide accurate and timely billing records and supervise supporting clinical documentation
* Coordinate and provide training with Restorative Nursing and other care staff
* Perform screening rounds to assess for client needs and environmental safety
* Previous experience in post-acute or long-term care environment preferred
* Knowledge of current Colorado occupational therapy practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to nursing care facilities required
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required
* Effective time management and ability to multi-task priorities required
