Job Details:

* 4x10 shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
* Schedule will be mostly consistent each week but may change based on surgical schedule
* 13-week assignment
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period
* Weekend availability required
* On-call required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
* Must have cardiothoracic and Level I or II trauma experience (hard requirement)
* Level II Trauma, Cardiac, and Thoracic knowledge is a must
* Experience working with specialties including Ortho, GYN, Urology, Cardiac, Thoracic, Hybrid Vascular, Plastics, ENT, Podiatry, Trauma, DaVinci Robot, Cardiovascular Lab, IR, Endoscopy, Neuro Surgery, and Ortho/Neuro Spine
* Experience with Difficult Airway supplies, Glidescope, Drager Anesthesia Machines, iStat, glucometer, and routine and difficult intubation required
* Preferred skills include Crash Cart, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), Aseptic Technique, Cell Saver, iStat, CVL, and Endoscopy
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color: Any (no reddish-orange permitted)
* Parking: Facility paid
* Required certifications: BLS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS, ASATT, Cer.A.T.
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center serving both outpatient, interventional radiology, emergency, and inpatient populations across two campuses with a combined total of 571 staffed beds. The facility operates 18 operating rooms with a daily census of 55 and supports a broad range of surgical specialties. The organization is equipped with advanced technology and resources to support complex surgical and trauma cases.
