Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color required: Navy Blue
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
* Specialty equipment experience required: Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psychiatric beds
* Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience
* Travel nursing experience required
* EMR experience required: EPIC
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in hand at time of submission)
* Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
