Job Details:

* Night shift position in Labor & Delivery
* Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* Every other weekend requirement with 12 weekend shifts per contract
* Patient ratio of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers welcome
* Charting experience required with Epic system
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* LDRP unit providing couplet care with most newborns rooming in with parents
* 11-bed/11-room unit
* Must be able to care for laboring patients, couplet care, and triage
* Skills required include: assisting with vaginal delivery, cesarean section, newborn assessment, breastfeeding/lactation support, couplet care, infant identification, phototherapy, thermoregulation, triage of obstetrical patients, newborn hypoglycemia management, recovering C-section patients, and LDRP
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE
* May be required to float to like units within scope based on facility needs
