Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with late hours until 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; a day off during the week will be given when Saturday is worked
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts per month required
* Float between 4 sites: Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford, North Haven Medical Center in North Haven, Long Wharf Medical Center in New Haven, and Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven
* Guaranteed hours provided
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Required skills: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Patients served are adults
* Interdisciplinary support from Radiology department available
* Pre-approved time off: up to one request
* Connecticut license required and must be active prior to start date

This healthcare organization is a short-term acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 total staffed beds.
