Job Details:

* Day shift position in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* NBSTSA or NCCT certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
* Scrub experience required
* On-call is required, averaging approximately 10 days per month including weekends
* Call schedule includes 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
* Four operating rooms run daily with operations maintained until 1700
* Daily case volume of approximately 6 cases
* Performs complex open-heart and vascular procedures including CABG, ECMO, Impella, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, lung resection, and all cardiac procedures except transplants
* Required skills include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Mitral Valve Replacement, Robotic cardiac and lung surgery, TEVAR, TAVR, VATS, and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within their scope based on facility needs

The facility currently runs four operating rooms daily and is expanding to meet the growing needs of its patient population.
