Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius
* Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required (at least 1 year of recent experience)
* Postpartum experience required
* Ability to circulate C-sections required
* Previous travel assignment experience required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Required certifications: CA RN license, BSN, AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Epic charting system experience required
* Key skills include: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum care, C-section circulation and recovery, External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, Neonatal Resuscitation, Epidural Anesthesia, Hemorrhage/shock management, High Risk Antepartum, Triage of obstetrical patients, and use of infusion pumps and IV monitoring
* Patient population includes straightforward to high acuity patients with co-morbidities, homebirth transfers, patients without prenatal care, and those with substance abuse history
* Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of offer; no additional requests will be accepted mid-contract and RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the start date
* RTO greater than 7 days in a row requires manager approval
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
