Opportunity:

ICU Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift ICU position
* Option of 36 or 48 hours per week with 48 hours allowed at straight time
* Patient ratio of 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
* 6 weekend shifts required per schedule period
* Float required - may be floated to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, CVICU with a maximum of 4 patients while floating
* 32-bed unit serving adult patient populations
* First-time travel accepted
* Minimum 1.5+ years of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
* Pending NM/Compact license accepted but must be obtained prior to start

The unit provides robust interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
