Opportunity:

Family Medicine MA-C

Job Details:

* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekends)
* 13-week contract length
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* May be required to float between two Seattle clinic locations depending on clinic staffing needs
* Work in a team-based approach with MA to clinician ratios that may vary daily
* Fast-paced clinic environment
* Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT designations are not accepted
* At least 6 months of experience as an MA-C required
* OB experience preferred; Family Medicine, Adult, or Pediatric Outpatient setting experience required
* EPIC charting experience required
* Scrubs in any color accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Required skills include administering medication, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering immunizations, performing EKG/ECG, urine dipstick/urinalysis, telephone triage, phlebotomy support, and general family practice duties
* This is a temp-to-hire opportunity; candidates must be willing and able to join the clinic permanently at the end of the contract if presented with an offer

This primary care clinic operates multiple locations in the Seattle area, providing comprehensive family medicine services to a diverse patient population. The facility uses a collaborative, team-based care model where medical assistants and clinicians work closely together across clinic locations to deliver high-quality outpatient care. The clinic supports a wide range of patient needs including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations and utilizes EPIC as its charting system.
