Job Details:
* 12-hour shifts with an expected volume of 30-40+ scans per shift
* Self-scheduling based on seniority
* May be asked to volunteer for shifts outside of contracted start times - indicate availability for day and night shifts at time of submission
* Must be open to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Very high volume, fast-paced environment
* May be asked to perform own patient transport based on staffing needs
* Must be able to work independently and efficiently
* Community hospital experience required
* GE and Toshiba equipment used (1 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion scanner and 1 64-slice GE Lightspeed)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* Facility may call off once every two-week pay period (guaranteed hours)
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT
* Patient age groups served: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
* Primarily serves Emergency Department patients with some outpatient volume
* High-volume primary stroke receiving center
* Transport support available, though technologists are encouraged to assist when needed
* Skills required include: CT imaging of abdomen, brain, chest, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and vascular; contrast preparation and administration; radiation safety; PACS; isolation precautions/PPE; and musculoskeletal trauma imaging

This acute care hospital operates with 212 staffed beds and provides a wide range of medical services to the surrounding community. The facility is a high-volume, fast-paced environment that functions as a primary stroke receiving center and serves a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The imaging department is primarily focused on emergency department patients and is equipped with advanced CT scanning technology to support efficient and high-quality patient care.
