Job Details:

* Work up to 12 hours per day with variable work hours based on organizational needs
* Must maintain budgeted hours
* Prepare and serve palatable, safe, and attractive foods for patients, catering functions, Meals on Wheels, cafeteria, visitors, physicians, and staff meal services
* Responsible for preparation and delivery of all meals to patients including regular and therapeutic diets
* Must multitask with schedules to meet multiple deadlines for patient care, cafeteria, Meals on Wheels, catering, cleaning schedules, and special functions
* Share responsibility for general departmental sanitation
* Must be 19 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
* ServSafe Manager Certification required within 6 months of hire
* Experience preparing food in a healthcare setting preferred
* Training in preparation of food for therapeutic diets preferred
* Special function cooking experience preferred
* Must have own reliable transportation as ride-share services are not available in the area
* Color blindness test required within one year of start date
