Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Labor and Delivery unit located on Floor 2 of the Main Entrance building
* Patient ratios: 1:1 for high risk labor and C-sections; 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on magnesium, and postpartum on magnesium; 1:3 for postpartum magnesium without baby and outpatients
* Work with equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitor
* EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Perform C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler procedures
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital L&D RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN
* Circulating C-sections experience preferred
* High risk LDR experience preferred
* Compassionate, caring, friendly, patient, and solutions-oriented personality preferred
* Self-scheduling available

Facility:

This medical center operates a 26-bed Labor and Delivery unit staffed by a team of over 112 dedicated professionals. The facility utilizes a team nursing approach where nurses collaborate and support one another, backed by a strong and experienced leadership team. The unit features an OB Hospitalist program providing attending support to the residency program and nurses working triage, along with many tenured nurses bringing 20 to 40 years of experience to the team.
