Open Position: RAD Tech - Sonographer

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2437.60

Opportunity:

Travel- Sonographer (729) / MC Lewisville / M-Th 6:30A-5P

Job Details:

* Work Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Perform general ultrasound and vascular ultrasound procedures
* Must be able to float between General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound units
* Rotating on-call requirement shared between 7 sonographers with night shift coverage via on-call from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Required certifications: RDMS (AB) or (OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS from CCI, BLS
* Typical procedures include abdomen, pregnancy 1st and 2nd trimester, biophysical profile, vascular (venous doppler, arterial, grafts, segmental pressure testing), biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, testicular, NICU neuro sono heads, surgery cases, and high level disinfection for intra-cavitary probes
* Work with GE Logiq e10, Parks Flo Lab, and Trophon2 equipment
* Use Meditech and GE Centricity PACS electronic medical record systems
* Experience with vascular, pediatric, general, procedural, small parts, and OR ultrasound preferred
* Positive attitude, dependability, reliability, and strong communication skills required

This 196-bed facility operates a robust ultrasound and vascular ultrasound department staffed by a team of experienced sonographers. The department is equipped with modern technology and imaging systems to support a wide range of diagnostic procedures. With a total staff of over 800 professionals, the facility maintains a collaborative and well-supported environment for traveling healthcare professionals.
