Job Details:

* Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
* No on-call requirements
* Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period
* May be required to float to other units up to competency level
* Low census call-off of up to 48 hours per 13-week contract may occur as full or partial shifts
* Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
* Coordinate care between other medical professionals as needed
* Must have 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
* Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment required
* Nevada RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips

This facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients annually across two emergency rooms. The facility is home to the region's only children's hospital and offers a comprehensive range of advanced services including a leading robotic surgery institute, brain and nerve care, and heart and cancer services. The facility features state-of-the-art technologies including the first accredited heart failure center in northern Nevada, the first Institute for Neurosciences in northern Nevada, low-dose CT imaging, Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, dedicated PET/CT scanner, Biplane Angiography, and 3T MRI technologies.
