Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with holiday rotation
* May require weekend rotation
* Float within scope to meet facility needs required
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Travel experience required
* Skills required include: High-Level Disinfection (HLD), Immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), Scope/Probe Reprocessing, Sets/Tray Assembly, Steam Sterilization Testing/Monitoring, Sterilization Wrapping Procedures, Robotics, Orthopedics, Neurology, Urology, Transplant, OB/GYN, and use of Washers/Sterilizers
* Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Parking pass available for nights and weekends with a one-time payment of $20

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds.
