Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
* Every other weekend and holiday requirement
* Must have 5+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 travel assignment
* MEDITECH experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
* Caribbean Blue scrubs only
* Auto lunch deductions apply
* Complete ORT during week one of assignment
* 2-shift floor specific orientation
* Must provide driver's license address with submission
* 75-mile radius rule applies
* Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
* Perform lab draws and start own IVs
* Charge nurse responsibilities included
* Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma, CVA, and various medical conditions
* Work with 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psych
* Handle approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
* Support from 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift
* Security and patient sitters available as needed

The facility maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy, pharmacy services, and central monitoring capabilities. The emergency department includes a dedicated 6-bed behavioral health lockdown area and serves as a CVA center. The facility is equipped with advanced life support capabilities and maintains trauma services, though some complex cases may be transferred to higher-level trauma centers.
