Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with late hours until 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; a day off during the week will be provided when a Saturday is worked
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts per month
* Float between 4 sites as needed: Guilford, North Haven, and two locations in New Haven, CT
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required within specialty
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Skills required include: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Patients served are adults
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Guaranteed hours provided
* Pre-approved time off greater than 7 days requires approval

This short-term acute care facility is a Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of medical services across multiple locations. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides interdisciplinary support through its radiology department. The organization operates across four sites, allowing healthcare professionals to gain diverse clinical experience in a dynamic and well-resourced environment.
