Nuclear Medicine Tech Days

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule
* Patient ratio of 11 patients per day shift
* Approximately 10 patient visits per day across 3 rooms
* On-call required every third week
* One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
* Perform PET CT and nuclear medicine procedures; department does not perform nuclear cardiology exams
* Experience with Siemens equipment required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available from radiology and transportation departments
* Required certifications: ARRT (Nuclear Medicine), NMTCB, BLS, PET
* Required skills include: PET Scan, 3 Phase, Bone, Brain, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, DTPA Aerosol, Ventilation/Perfusion, Renal/Perfusion, Liver Imaging, Cerebral Blood Flow, Whole Body, Uptake Scan, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, and Isolation Precautions/PPE
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates within 75 miles not accepted

This facility operates a nuclear medicine department equipped to handle a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures. The department supports a moderate daily patient volume and provides interdisciplinary collaboration with radiology and transportation services. The facility utilizes Siemens imaging equipment and maintains a structured scheduling environment with on-call requirements on a rotating basis.
