Open Position: Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2784.60

EP Tech Days

Job Details:

* 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift on day schedule
* Late/call coverage for EP cases required as needed
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrubs provided in Royal Blue
* 1 year minimum experience required
* First time travelers are welcome
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS
* Perform electrophysiology lab procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and arrhythmia induction
* Insert and program AICDs and pacemakers including permanent pacemaker insertion
* Conduct electrophysiology evaluations and conduction studies
* Perform cardioversion and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
* Assist with Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure and Watchman procedures
* Maintain sterile field as scrub and serve as room circulator
* Perform EKG lead placement and accurate monitoring
* Set up and manage equipment, prep access site, and stock supplies
* Float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs

This facility is a well-equipped healthcare organization with a dedicated electrophysiology lab supported by comprehensive interdisciplinary services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility supports a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures and provides a collaborative environment for traveling healthcare professionals, including those on their first travel assignment.
