Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

* 5x8 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Rotating call required: weekday call from 3:30 PM to midnight
* Weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM to midnight both Saturday and Sunday
* Must reside within 75 miles of the facility
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* Preferred certifications: CNMT, ARRT N
* Charting system experience required; Cerner system utilized
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Perform procedures including bone scans, PET scans, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, gastric emptying studies, ventilation/perfusion scans, and pharmacological stress testing
* Additional procedures include renal scans, liver imaging, cerebral blood flow studies, I-123 uptake scans, and sestamibi parathyroid scans
* Skills required include starting and maintaining IVs, drawing venous blood, and storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
* Interdisciplinary support provided through radiology department
